Creamsicle Pie

Creamsicles are a great treat anytime. When you make a Creamsicle pie, it brings back memories of enjoying a hot summer day with a cold Creamsicle. You will need at least 4 hours to freeze this pie, so if you need it for tonight’s dessert, plan accordingly!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 1 qt.vanilla ice cream
  • 6 ounces orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 C whipped topping
  • 1 orange, sliced thinly to decorate
  • In large bowl blend softened ice cream and orange juice concentrate with an electric mixer (use on medium speed). You do not want the ice cream melted — just let it soften outside of the freezer for about 10 minutes.

Spread mixture in prepared crust. Freeze until firm. This will take approximately four hours.

Garnish with whipped topping and orange slices.

Serve immediately and freeze what remains…if any!
